Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson has won two Olivier Awards along with a Golden Globe Award. She gave her Broadway premiere in Nick Payne's Constellations in the role of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her best-known role is as Alison Lockhart, in Showtime's "The Affair", for which she received a Golden Globe Award. The Little Stranger and Dark River are two of her film credits. She received BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for Best Lead Actress in"Jane Eyre," the BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre." In 2007, she had her London debut in Maxim Gorky's Philistines in The National Theatre. She also starred in Ingmar Bergman's Through a Glass Darkly, made into a stage adaptation in the Almeida Theatre.
