LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful basketball player ever and is often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James holds 4 NBA champions. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. Two Olympic gold medals. James has scored the most points during playoffs and has with the second-highest number of points in his career and is seventh in career assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named for the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He's played in ten NBA Finals the third most ever, including eight times in a row between 2011 and the year 2018. In 2021 James was selected to make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player in NBA history to rack up 10,000 points or more in a career as well as assists and rebounds. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School near his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. He was in the process of becoming a professional and was the first pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003.
