Dua lipa is an English singer/songwriter born August 22, 1995 in London. She decided to sign with Warner Bros Records in 2014 following her work as a model. She released her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album reached number three on the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles, including Be The One I.D.G.A.F and The U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at number sixth in the United States. Lipa received The Brit Award in the year 2018, as a British Female Soloist and British Breakthrough Artist. The album has been recognized as platinum in several nations. Dua Lipa was born on the 22nd August 1995 in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. She is of Bosnian heritage through her maternal grandparents. Her ancestors could also be traced back to Kosovo cities of Peja. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. Her siblings include Rina and Gjin.
